The scale is headed back in the right direction. I reached my goal of drinking a gallon of water yesterday and it was surprisingly easier than I'd thought.
During the day food was pretty good but dinner was pizza from Papa Murphy's I only had one slice and that's huge for me. Pizza is one of those foods I would normally eat at least 3 slices and maybe go back for more. I made some breadsticks to go along with the pizza and those were made out of whole wheat flour (not "healthy" but better than the alternative) Since wheat flour adds the fiber that slows down the digestion of food and makes the body work harder to process it our metabolisms increase and burn more calories.
The Scale Down scale sent me a text this morning that I was up an overall 2.9 for this week but congrats on weighing in every day. I understand the need for a weekly update (especially since weight goes up and down) but a "hey good job on that weight loss today" would have been nice.
Or since the point is to help us become aware of what we did yesterday to make our weight go up or down it should have asked me what I did yesterday to have the scale move down so much. If I hadn't already been trying to drink extra water maybe that little question would have helped me discover it was the water.
Oh well we are moving in the right direction now. I know that I need to get my daily water and be prepared with healthy snacks. This Friday we have a 14 hour car trip with 3 of my kids, ages 5 and under. I will be prepared with healthier snacks than we would usually take on car trips and I plan to make our bathroom stops little exercise adventures too.
